Biography
Buster was born in 1925 in Glen Rogers, West Virginia. He was the son of Levi Sutiel Jessup and Bessie E. Smith.

He married [[McDuffie-880|Opal Forrest Dowdy[[ nèe McDuffie in 1958 in Harnett County, North Carolina. They had two sons together.
He passed away in 2011 in Vass, North Carolina, and was buried in Johnson Grove Cemetery.
