This profile has a database error (DBE#774) in the way that the last name at birth has been formatted.
Could you please either correct the name or add me to the trusted list and I'll fix it.
Thank you
Neither of them appear on my watchlist - can you give me a bit more data and I will investigate. Thanks, Chris
It's not a case of neither - just one person: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Hirsch_or_Borel-1
You are definitely PM for that profile.
Having looked at it and done some digging I can see why you have the alternate names in his LNAB - it's just that alternates are not really approved and trigger an error flag.
I can find no previous records that fit a Robert Borel, but quite a few that would fit the surname Hirsch, but nothing definitive to make me believe that the prior Hirsch references are the same person.
This may be one of the very rare cases where an alternate in the LNAB is justified pending further research.
Derrick
If you are happy to leave it 'as is' pending further research, that works for me. But otherwise, I could update it as Hirsch (which is more likely, I think) but keep Borel as an 'other last name' and then put a research note on the profile. Just let me know what you prefer. best, Chris

I would like to thank you for all your contributions towards the goals of the England Project during the past six months. We've achieved a huge amount during this period and we couldn't have done it without you and our other project members.
As the England Project Leaders, we are completing our six monthly check-in with all project members.
We ask all of our project members to join at least one project team. Is there a team you would like to join or become more active in? There is a list of our teams here.
Also, do you have any feedback on what the project is doing well and anything we could do better in the future?
Please respond to this message by posting a reply below or sending me a private message. I look forward to hearing from you.
Many thanks!

Will do. And many thanks. Chris
Yes, I think you are right. She cannot have been a daughter of the John MP with those dates. You are welcome to make the changes - please let me know if you need help. Thanks for spotting this - I was focused on Ann Goring and did not check Elizabeth Covert in detail. best regards, Chris
I have just reviewed Elizabeth Covert's profile and changed it to accept your suggestion - she could not have been the daughter of the John Covert that I had suggested - the dates do not match whereas your suggestion looks much more likely. Many thanks. Chris
Thanks for asking. I have nothing substantial WikiTree-wise to report. I have been working on the Orphan Trail post-1500 where Hilary Gadsby has been a super mentor and guide. I completed that last week and Hilary put me in touch with Ian to discuss whether I should also go for pre-1500 certification as I have several profiles that are in the period 1350 to 1500. In particular there is one that I want to research further on, a William Jephson, I am in touch with Ian but we have not made any decision yet. Other than that, I continue to add data to Jephson profiles and have started to upload electronic versions of paper birth, marriage and death certificates where relevant, and of which I have quite a collection. Of particular note: Jessica Gannon in Japan has been a fantastic help at finding links between Jephson family members and has also identified a small number of duplicate profiles that we have then merged. I have an agreement with Sandy Culver to add data that I have on the Casement family in Ireland as there is a Jephson connection there. I have to say that I have so far not made much use of the Google Group nor the Discord server, but I am aware of them. Since I started using WikiTree, I have been impressed by the professionalism of all the people that I have had contact with - it has been and is a pleasure to work with you all. I hope this helps. Best regards, Chris
It's that time of the year again: check-in time! As England Project Leaders, we like to check in with you every six months or so to see how things are progressing. Back in May, we didn't ask for a response due to the rapid emergence of Covid-19 because we understood that people's lives were changing rapidly. While we are still living in a Covid world, we do need to hear back from you this time around.
First of all, how are you doing? What are you currently working on? Are you happy with the team(s) you're in, or would you like to change things up?
Secondly, we're looking for some feedback on the Google Group and our Discord server. Do you use either or both of these? If you don't use either, why not? Do you have any suggestions on how we can improve participation and collaboration, either generally or for you personally?
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Amy, Joan & Lizzie.
Your England Leaders are completing the six monthly check in with all team members. Thank you for your participation in the Orphan Trail.
These are unprecedented and difficult times, and we understand as Project Leaders that your situation may have changed somewhat in the last few months. What we are all able to/ wish to contribute on Wikitree has changed. Thank you again on behalf of all the Project Leaders for everything you do.
Jo
No worries. I will be back in Copenhagen where my reference books are on Thursday and will revert once I have checked them. best regards, Chris
I should be able to check and come back to you later this week - not forgotten. best regards, Chris
What help do you need in the meantime? Stephen
Fascinating bio, by the way.

I noticed you chose our Integrators Challenge this month (June). Could you do us a favor and go here to sign up officially: https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/840375/wikitreers-join-the-fun-join-integrators-challenge-june-2019
And if you can please add your question that you will be working on or the profile marked "needs profiles created" for the challenge. Thanks.
Got a question, see this page as well: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Integrators_Challenge
Also, you can put a sticker on your profile You can do so by adding the words Integrators Challenge with the {{ }} in front and back, in your biography.
Thank you and Good Luck!! Dorothy, Integrators Project Coordinator
If you need to know where the link is, it's on your Jephson Name Study on the right hand side under the 'Collaboration' heading. It's in the first paragraph. :)
https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/742714/one-name-studies-project-request-your-2019-name-study-here and I create it for you. You might like to go to the Project page at the link I gave you.
What you would do is run a Jephson Name Study. This would create a category for you to put on the relevant profiles (and thus include them in the Study).
To find out a bit more about what a Name Study is, please go to the project page: www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:One_Name_Studies
and get back to me with what you think. You have some time to do this, as one of the prerequisites of having a Name Study is that you have been on WikiTree for 30 days.
