Biography
Alice was born about 1874 in Plymouth, Devon, the daughter of Richard Jenkin and Isabella
In 1881, Alice is a 6 year old living with her parents Richard and Isabella in Yorkshire. Her father is recorded as a Wesleyan Minister. [1]
In the 1911 census we see that Alice Jenkin (unmarried) was living with her sister Annie Jenkin (unmarried) who was a Sunday School mistress for the local council in Barnstaple, Devon.
Stanley Howes and Alice Jenkin were married 5th June 1912 in Bristol, Gloucestershire, England [2]
