Thomas Gerrard-298, currently shown as father, left no children, and none are named in his will. His nephew Gerrard Slye claimed the right to inherit property of Thomas Gerrard-298’s father, as neither Thomas Gerard-298 nor his brother Justinian had any children, and their brother John's two children had died without issue. See USGenWeb, transcription of "Historical and Genealogical Notes" in 'The William and Mary College Quarterly Historical Magazine', Vol. 5, No. 2. (Oct., 1896), pp. 139-143.

This means that Thomas Jarrett was not a son of Thomas Gerrard-298, and that he should be detached from his currently-shown parents. Unless good evidence can be found for the relationship, I propose to do this.

Jarrell-1138 and Jarrett-608 appear to represent the same person because: same will is quoted

Thomas Gerard Sr. who married Susanna Snowe didn't use the spelling Jarrett. THomas Sr. son Thomas Jr didn't use the spelling Jarrett either. Is there a source that Thomas married Sarah Hardy?
