Henry was born in 1786 in Pelynt when his mother was 44. He was the last of her children.
He married Elizabeth A'Lee in Oct. 1809 in Pelynt with witnesses John and William Jago--likely his brothers. Henry was 23 and a blacksmith.
They lived in Pelynt all their lives. I think they both died in the fall of 1862 in Pelynt.
They had 12 children all born in Pelynt with a blacksmith for a father.

Thomas born March 19,1817.
Catherine born June 4 or Sept. 30, 1819. Think she is called Kitty.
Charles born Nov. 4, 1821.
George born Aug. 24, 1823.
Mary Ann born Sept. 15, 1825.
Rachel born March 27, 1828.
Emma June 21, 1830.
Louisa born April 6, 1834.
and there is an Elizabeth mentioned in the 1841 census born in 1835.
The 1841 census lists them as being in Lanlivery, Pelynt with all their children but the eldest two Henry and Elizabeth. John and Thomas are blacksmiths like their father. Their daughter Rachel is living at the Hall with a farmer.
John and Mary Clemens live next door with their son Thomas age 1. Henry's sister Ann married a Benjamin Clemens in 1816.
In 1851 they are living at Fore St., Liskeard, Pelynt with their children Kitty age 31, sons Charles age 29 and George age 27 and daughter Louisa age 17. They also have their granddaughter Mary Jago aged 1 born Liskeard living with them.
In 1861 they are still in Liskeard but in Barcelona. One family is Henry, a retired blacksmith and his wife Elizabeth. They are both 76. Next door is John Jago, a blacksmith with his sister Louisa and his niece Rachel age 5. Also next door is Henry Jago Jr. age 50, also a blacksmith with his wife Mary Ann and sons John age 19 and James age 16.
