Biography

Thomas was10 Jun 1848, son of Job and Sarah Gandy Jaco in Taylor County, West Virginia, USA.^[1][2]

Nelson was in a pension record from 1907-1933 granted for Army service in the United States. He enlisted on 22 January 1864 and was discharged on 9 August 1865 when he became an Army Invalid. He served as a private in the Co. K, 15 West Virginia Inf.. ^[3]

Thomas buried in Kenesaw Cemetery, Kenesaw, Adams County, Nebraska, United States with a death date of 24 April 1921.^[3][1]
