Ola Jackson was born about 1867 in Nebraska, United States, son of William Jackson. He was raised by his father and step-mother Ella Unknown.
Research Notes
There is only about a ten year gap in age between him and his father's wife Ella (which means that Ella is his step-mother).
His name might actually be Ole. I found multiple records for a Black Ole Jackson from Nebraska whose father was also named William.[1]
