Elma Fugitt

Funeral services for Mrs. Elma Jackson Fugitt, 83, were held at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, February 27, 1983, from the Ott & Lee chapel in Morton. The Rev. Jimmy Glover officiated. Interment was made in the Siloam Cemetery at Prentiss with graveside services at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 28.

Mrs. Fugitt died Saturday afternoon at the Scott County Nursing Home in Morton, following a short illness. She had been a resident of Morton for the past six years but had lived in the Booneville area most of her life. She was a member of the Siloam Methodist Church in Booneville.

Survivors include one son, Frank Fugitt, Morton; one brother, T. M. Jackson, Ripley; one sister, Mrs. Ella Plaxco, Corinth, one grandchild, Charlene Fugitt Smith, and one great-grandchild, Corey Smith, both of Morton and a number of nieces and nephews.
