AILEEN MARIE JACKS - age 83, of Lancing, passed away Friday December 28, 2007 in Methodist Medical Center. She was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by parents; Ben and Elsie Hines Jacks and niece; Jan Jacks Stroud. Mrs. Hamby is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Joe Cooper of Knoxville, Brenda and Daniel Garrett of Wartburg; grandchildren, whom she loved so very much, Breann Cooper of Knoxville, Roseanna and R.J. Foster of Orlando, FL, Alan and Deanna Garrett of Wartburg, Kevin and Sheila Garrett of Lancing, Chad and Monica Garrett of Rockwood; great-grandchildren, and the joy of her life, Emily, Daniel, Kara and Hayden; brother and sister-in-law; Ben and Aileen Jacks of Albany, GA; sisters, Thelma Garrett of Harriman, Helen and husband Onder Hurst of Bonneau, S.C. and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 30, 2007 from 5 to 7:00 P.M. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 P.M. with Bro. Buster Armes and Bro. Richard Parker officiating. Graveside service will be Monday at 10:30 A.M. at Morgan Memorial Gardens. Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg in charge of arrangements.
