Biography

Clara Jane Hutton was born on 19 September 1865 in Blackburn, Lancashire, England. She was the daughter of William Hutton and Jenny (Woods) Hutton.[1]

Clara was baptised on 6 October 1865 in St. Mary-the-Virgin, Blackburn, Lancashire, England.[2]

In the 1871 census Clara (age 5) was living at 1 Victoria Terrace, Feniscowles Emmanuel, Lancashire, England. Relation to Head: Daughter.[3]

In the 1881 census Clara (age 15) was living in Livesey, Lancashire, England. Relationship to Head: Daughter.[4]

In the 1891 census Clara (age 25) was living in Livesey, Lancashire, England. Relation to Head: Daughter.[5]

When Clara was 27 she married William Henry Eddleston on 3 August 1893 in Livesey, St Andrew, Lancashire, England. The couple had one child: James Hutton Eddleston.[6]

In the 1901 census Clara (age 35) was living in Great Harwood, Lancashire, England. Relation to Head of House: Wife.[7]

In the 1911 census Clara (age 45) was living in Blackburn, Lancashire, England. Marital Status: Married. Relation to Head: Wife.[8]

Clara died at the age of 56 on 24 March 1922 in Blackburn, Lancashire, England.[9] She was buried on 28 March 1922 in Lower Darwen, St James, Lancashire, England.[10] and probate closed on 27 June 1922 in Lancashire, England.[11]
