Biography

Thomas Hutton was born sometime between 1600 and Jun 1605, when there is a record of his baptism in Lancashire in the Warton Parish Register. ^[1]He married Ellen Curwen 15 Aug 1622 in Leigh, Lancashire^[2] but she died four months later, on 21 Dec 1622, and was buried in Warton Parish.^[3][4]

About 1624 Thomas married for a second time. The name of his second wife is unknown, but together they had four children: Alice (b. 1625-);^[5] John (b. 1629-1684); Thomas (b. 1636-); and Richard (b. 1638-). This second wife died sometime before Jul 1640, and on 22 Jul 1640 Thomas married for the the third time to Susan Clarke at St Andrews, Penrith, Cumberland, England.^[6]

Thomas died on 7 May 1653 at Marske, Yorkshire, England.
