There is a marriage bond dated 9 April 1840 for Grafton Gardner and Lydia Hunt, Guilford County, North Carolina. The certificate was signed by Grafton Gardner and Jabez Hunt. Green Morgan was witness. The actual marriage took place on 3 September 1840 (translated date) at Deep River Friends Meeting.
