Biography

Benjamin Hunkins was born Setpember 26, 1741, in Haverhill, Essex county, Massachusetts, a son of Robert Hunkins and Hannah Muzzey. [1] On August 4, 1763, in Haverhill, Benjamin married Hannah Cheney. Children of Benjamin and Hannah were born in Sandown, Rockingham county, New Hampshire:

  • Molly Hunkins, born March 6, 1761, died 1843, married Jonathan Collins Sanborn [2]
  • Rebecca Hunkins/Hunkens born August 23, 1764, died May 5, 1791, in Chester, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, married Benjamin Wilson [3]
  • Isaac Hunkins, Hunkens born October 20, 1766, married Dorothy Glidden [4]
  • Moses Hunkins, born June 21, 1771, died March 31, 1861, in Sandown, married Dorothy Huse [5]
