Lota (Hunkin) Hawke was born in Mevagissey, Cornwall, England.

Lota Trevanion Hunkin was born on 16 Aug 1903 in Mevagissey, Cornwall, England, daughter of John William Hunkin (1868 - 1944) and Louisa Walkey (1870 - 1959). Her birth was registered in St Austell, Cornwall, England in 1903 Sep Qtr.[1]

Lota married Francis Reginald Hawke (1906 - 1973) on 11 Mar 1935 in Mevagissey.[3]

They had one daughter, Sally A Hawke (1944 - living).[4]

In 1939 Lota was age 35 and living with her husband Francis in Padstow, Cornwall, England. He was a commercial traveller and she was a shopkeeper of tobacco, fruit and confections. Her birth date was 16 Aug 1903.[5]

Her husband Francis died in 1973 in Plymouth, Devon, England.[6]

Lota died age 86 on 2 May 1990 in Plymouth, Devon, England, and was buried in the Trewinney Cemetery by her husband in Mevagissey, Cornwall, England, where they share a gravestone.[7][8] Her will was probated on 18 Jul 1900 in Llandaff, Wales.[9]
