Biography
James Henry Hunkin was born on 9 May 1923, son of Richard Ernest Hunkin (1885 - 1925) and Lottie Lucinda Wales (~1886 - 1953).
His siblings were:

- Phyllis Everal Hunkin (1913 - 1979)
- Lottie M Hunkin (1914 - 1915)

- Edith Lottie Hunkin (1919 - 1986)
When WWII started, James enlisted in the army and was moved from Broken Hill to Sydney to camp before being sent overseas (that is how he met my mother)[1]
James married Rita Frances Shambler (~1925 - living) on 17 Mar 1951. Their children were:
- Megan Jane Hunkin ( - living)
- James William Hunkin (1966 - living).
James died on 6 May 1991 aged 67. The cause of death was pancreatic cancer.[2]
