Biography
George was baptised (Georgius) on 7 April 1733 in St Briavels by parents Jacobi and Marthae. [1]
In March 1756 he married Sarah Morris from Llandogo in Monmouthshire, in St Briavels. Benjamin Hulin was a witness. [2]
In his Will dated July 1810, George mentions he is a Stone Cutter and mentions son Samuel (who inherited half a piece of land in St Briavels Common called Coopers Green) and some complicated financial transaction involving paying money to son Thomas (who was the executor and the beneficiary of the other half of Coopers Green).
