The 1851 census shows that Peter was living with his grandparents George and Caroline Hulin and possibly his mother Caroline Hulin. His name was given as Peter Tiley. [2]
On 25 Feb 1867 he married Mary Elizabeth Lambert at Bristol, Gloucestershire. His father's name was given as Peter Hulin, but was probably Peter Tily of Stapleton, Gloucestershire. [3]
