Biography

Dorothy Aileen was born about 1929. ^[1] She was the daughter of Robert James Hughey and Annette Elizabeth McKane. ^[2]

As of 1949 she lived at 199 Hereford Street, Christchurch. As of 1954 she was a nurse of Kilbirnie, Wellington.

In 1956 she married Hugh Robertson Coates. ^[3]

She passed away 27 January 1959 age 29 at Oxford, England. Her husband was a Captain. ^{[2] [4]}

She could possibly be the sister Aileen in tentative records for Margaret Jane Hughey (1906-).

Not the same person as Dorothy Maud Hughey m. 1946 to Palmer.
