Biography

Jonathan Hoit/Hoyt, son of John Hoyt and Sarah Barnard of Amesbury, Massachusetts was born about 1740 [1] He may be the Jonathan baptized at Amesbury on February 20. 1742/3. [2]

He married Sarah Challis at Amesbury on December 3, 1761 [2] and later resided at Loudon, New Hampshire. [1]
