Lee Boyd Houser 79 of Eldon Mo.passed away September13, 201 at theMissouri Veterans Home, Warrensburg Mo. He was born to Burham E. andDollie D. Taylor Houser in Eldon Mo.on May 28 1933.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Jane Cannon Howser. On November 11, 1959 he married Conni Sue Burris wo preceded him in death on October 30, 2002.
He served in the Navy for four years and upon completon of his service, he joined the Rock Island Railroad and contnued with Southern Pacific until his retrement after 40 years.
He is survived by three daughters, Rosie C. Willis and husband Steve, Dollie A. Heinle and husband John, Sandy Howser and friend, Sandy Miller. three grandchildren, Matt Orcino and wife Chrissy, Stephanie Barrett and husband Seth and Jeremiah Willis. three step grandchildren, John, Nita, and Andy Heinle. six great grandchildren, Haiden, Cannon, Grayson Barrett and Raven Slater; Mallarie ad Briana Orcino, three step grandchildren, Austin and Nick Lahay and Jonathon Heinle. three sisters, Shirley Schaeffer and husband Paul, Martha Morris and husband Audley and Sharon Shaw and husband Mike; many nieces, nephews and frieds.
He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant sister, three bothers, Burham Stanley, Billy Gene nd Howard Taylor (Corky) Howser.
Visitation will be heldon Sunday September 16, 2012 from 4-8p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon Mo. with funeral service on Monday September 17 2012 at 10a.m. also at the funeral home.with Pastor Charlie Kempf. bural will follow at Greenmore Memorial Gardens in Barnett Mo with Full military honors provided by the Eldon VFW Post # 2442.
