Biography

When Osa Blanche Howlett was born on June 30, 1886, in Mississippi, Missouri, her father, Miles, was 43, and her mother, Susan, was 37. She married Arden Leon Pruett on June 12, 1907, in Charleston, Missouri. They had one child during their marriage. Arden Sr. died shortly after Arden Jr. was born. Osa married Earl Melott who gave Arden Jr. his last name. She died on July 11, 1948, in Greenville, Mississippi, at the age of 62, and was buried in Charleston, Missouri.

Howlett-1416 and Howlett-493 appear to represent the same person because: Hi Susan, We are 3rd cousins. We both descend from Luke Howlett and Elizabeth Ice.
