My ancestry includes a George Howlett from Bramfield, England who married Ann Crisp. I have a copy of Abstracts of Wills and Administrations in the Courts of the Archdeacon of Suffolk, England. The records are of the Crisp family from 1454 to 1800. Crisp is sometimes spelled Crispe as well as Chrisp and Chrispe. The wills sometimes identify spouses and children, or in some cases when a person dies without a spouse, the will makes references to kinsmen. The wills and administrations thereof provide a reasonable approximation of the date of death, however there is never any reference to date of birth or date of marriage. I have not been able to make a verifiable connection between Ann Crisp and any of the persons mentioned in the document, although the name Ann, or Anne, Crisp is mentioned.

I have a wealth of family history. Longevity in the family has made it possible for older family members to pass down so much. Longevity? My mother passed away recently just 4 days shy of 108!
