Married: On 15 September 1881, Margaret (age 33) married widower William Francis Burwell Howlett (age 35), son of William England Howlett and Jane Naomi Hewerdine, at the Church of Our Lady Guelph. Witnesses to the wedding were Maurice Neagle (from Puslinch) and Minnie McCaul (from Arthur Village). William was a civil engineer from Mt. Forest, Wellington, Ontario, Canada at the time of the marriage.^[2]
