Research notes
Baptism records give parents names as Henry Howlett and Ann Diggons/Diggens/Diggins [6] [7] [8].
Parents married on 14th Feb 1801 in Redgrave (or maybe Wortham) [9] [10] [11]
One candidate Henry was born in Wortham in 1870 [12] but there is also one born in Diss the year before (different person with different parents).
But Ann was only local if she'd been married previously - no possible baptisms within 10 miles.
Ah! Henry and Ann are in the 1841 census, with his yob as 1770 and hers as 1771 [13], and both born in Suffolk!
Siblings for Harriott - full sibs too: Frances (1804), MAria, Martha and William (1818). All baptisms name both parents [14]. So Ann could still bear children in 1818.
Harriet died in 1885: [15]
Harriet was born in 1811.
