Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Ditmire-Davidson funeral home at Fulton for [Josiah] A. HOWER, 91, Fulton, who died at 5:45 p.m. Saturday in Woodlawn hospital. He had been ill one month. The Rev. Arthur TRUEX will officiate and burial will be in the Fulton cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. A retired cabinetmaker, Mr. Hower was born in Fulton county March 24, 1871 to Henry and Leah WEAVER HOWER. He was married Feb. 17, 1895 to Charity A. REID, who preceded in death. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Bertha WALTZ, Fulton; Mrs. Earl (Bernice) THOMPSON, Adelphia, Md.; Mrs. Laverna THIBODEAU, Coleman, Wis.; Mrs. Syble STUMP, Danville, Ill., and Mrs. Ada CLAWSON, North Hollywood, Cal.; two sons, William H. [HOWER], Nadeau, Mich., and Ira [HOWER], Richmond, Cal.; thirty-two grandchildren; eighty four great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Ida DOWNS, Rochester, and a brother, Sam [HOWER], R.R. 2, Kewanna.
