Elizabeth Jean Hower Kline Saarinen (Hower-348) was the daughter of Millto E Hower (Hower-326) and Maud Alora Scott Hower(Scott-49003). She was born in 1923 and died in 2005. She married Jack Fredrick Kline (Kline-3533) who she divorced and Rudolph Paivio Saarinen(Saarinen-86) Obituary.Sarasota Herald-Tribune (FL) - June 9, 2005 Elizabeth J. Saarinen, 81, Sarasota, died June 7, 2005. She was born July 15, 1923, in Decatur, Ind., and came to Sarasota in 1973. She retired from the city of Sarasota as secretary for the police department and mobile home park. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels, Sarasota Memorial Hospital and charity bingo events at St. Martha's Catholic Church where she was a member. She was a longtime member of Bobby Jones Golf Club and played in many golf tournaments, winning two hole-in-one awards. She was a member of the Women's Bowling Association of Sarasota and Indiana Tri Kappa. Survivors include a son, Michael Kline of Angola, Ind.; a daughter, Margaret Neubauer of Sarasota; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A memorial Mass for family and friends will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Martha's Church.
