Barbara Howatt (Howett) was born 7 Feb 1876 in Bonill, Dunbartonshire, Scotland^[1] to John Howatt and Catherine Black.^[2]

She married Andrew Ritchie. Their daughter Catherine was born in 1905 in Scotland.^[3][4]

They immigrated to Canada about 1910-1911.^[5][6]

Barbara Ritchie passed away 2 Nov 1949 in Hamilton, Wentworth, Ontario. She is buried in Woodland Cemetery in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.^[7]
