Biography
Samuel was born in 1781 in Hagerstown, Maryland. He was the son of Abraham Houser and Nancy Ann Rhorer.
Samuel Houser was married twice. His first marriage was to Susannah Leighter 18 April 1801 in Washington County, Maryland.[1]
They were the parents of Jacob Houser, b 1803.[2]
His second marriage was to Sarah Fifer in 1811 in Jessamine County, Kentucky.[3]
Samuel died at the age of about 58 in 1839 in Penn Township, Schuylkill, Pennsylvania.
