Biography
Mrs. LOTTIE HOUSER BENDER died at her home in Sharpsburg at 12 o'clock noon yesterday, after an illness of 12 weeks. The cause of death was heart trouble.
She is survived by her husband, Samuel H. Bender; sisters and brothers, Mrs. Grace Shank of St. James; Mrs. Keller Scott of Sharpsburg; John and Earl Houser of Sharpsburg. She was a member of the Episcopal Church. She was the daughter of the late Ada (Mose) Houser and Clinton Houser of Sharpsburg.
Funeral services were held at the home; interment was in Mountain View Cemetery, Sharpsburg.
