Biography
Catherine Hope was born on 3 Feb 1782 to Robert and Catherine (Allison) Hope in South Caroline.
Her father Robert's will says, "[t]o my daughter Catherine Crawford I will and bequeath all that I have already gave off to her."[1] [2]
On 13 May 1799, Catherine married Joseph Crawford in North Carolina. [3][4]
Catherine (Hope) Crawford died on 4 April 1840, and is buried in the Poplar Tent Presbyterian Church Cemetery next to her husband Joseph Crawford in North Carolina. [5]
