Daughter of Jacob Huber/Hoover and Barbara Myer, both originally from Lancaster County, PA. They moved to Timberville, Rockingham Co., VA. by 1780. Salome Hoover married Jacob Garber, a Brethren minister and farmer. They had at least seven children: Anna married Michael Bowman. At least three children. Elizabeth married Daniel Neff. At least 7 children. Samuel married Elizabeth Myers. At least 8 children. John married Anna Myers. At least 2 children. Martin married Elizabeth Wine. 10 children. Abraham married Anna Miller. 13 children. Joseph, never married.
Died at 65 yrs.3mo.23 days.
Salome was born in 1793. She is the daughter of Jacob Huber. Salome died in 1858. [1]
