Biography
Isabella was born in about 1847, probably with the surname Rimmer. After her mother married Shadrach Hooton in 1849, Isabella usually used the surname Hooton.[1]
Isabella (using the surname Rimmer) married Nathan Seddon (son of Nathan Seddon) on 11 Nov 1869 in North Meols, giving her father's name as Shadrach Hooton.[2][3]
In 1881, a widowed Isabella Seddon was residing with her mother Ann, brother Enoch Hooton, and the children from her first marriage: Mary E (11), Nathan (9), James (6), Ann (4) and Margaret (1).[4]
On 29 Jul 1882, Isabella remarried to a cousin of her first husband, also named Nathan Seddon (son of Thomas Seddon).[5]
Isabella Seddon of Park Hall Farm, Moss-lane, Southport, widow, died 19 Jun 1920, with administration of her estate granted in Liverpool on 26 Jul 1920 to Nathan Seddon, farmer.[6][7]
