I am a Justice of the Peace and was a Director of Hooper Management Services consulting as a Strata Manager with Whittles Strata and Community Managers until his retirement in December 2014. I was formerly a Primary School Teacher, Telstra employee, Taxi owner / driver and Personnel Manager of Onkaparinga Woollen Mills.
As a member of School Councils for 15 years and chairman for 10 of those years, I was the last Chairman of the Para Vista High School Council and the first Chairman of the Valley View Secondary School Council. The first 10 years were spent on the Council of the Ingle Heights Primary School of which I was Chairman for nearly 5 years. Ie was inaugural Area Coordinator of Ingle Farm Neighbourhood Watch for 5 years and a member of the first State Executive of the Neighbourhood Watch Association.
I am an approved volunteer with the SA Police Force and the SA Police Historical Society.
I co-authored 'From Weavers to Wapstraws', the history of the Kelly family, which won the 1994 Family History Book of the year award from the Genealogy Society of SA.
I have been tracing my family history for nearly 50 years and have a substantial data base of relatives numbering in excess of 120,000 names.
