Chester Christian Hollinger served in the United States Civil War.

Chester Christian Hollinger was born to Jacob Hollinger (1816-1902) and Elizabeth Christie (1821-1869).[1]
Chester C. Hollinger enlisted on 19 October 1864 as a Musician in the Union Army. He was mustered into Company F, 142nd Indiana Infantry. He was mustered out on 14 July 1865 at Nashville, Tennessee.[2][3]
On 3 February 1876 in Kansas, he married Mary Ann Antrim. In 1900, the record shows they were married for 24 years. They had six children with 3 alive in 1900. Mary's widowed mother was living with them along with two sons and one daughter.[4]
