Francis Delbert Hollinger Francis "Peck" Delbert Hollinger of Fredericktown died Friday, August 18, 1978 at Madison Memorial Hospital. He was 69. Mr. Hollinger was born on September 21, 1908 in Patton to the late John and Eva Hollinger. He married Viola (LaChance) Hollinger July 11, 1929 in St. Francois County. To this union were born two children, Betty Lou Allgier and L.E. "Shorty" Hollinger, both of Fredericktown. Mrs. Hollinger and the two children survive Mr. Hollinger. Other survivors include two sisters, Marie Newland and Nellie Kassabaum, both of Farmington; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Aline Hollinger; a son-in-law, Mr. Arthur Allgier; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, a daughter, Velma Hollinger preceded Mr. Hollinger in death. Mr. Hollinger was a member of the Oak Grove Cemetery United Baptist Church. Chapel services were held Sunday, August 20, at the Wilson Funeral Home with the Rev. John Allen officiating. Burial was in Yount Cemetery. Pallbearers were Delbert Wagganer, Denver Wagganer, Bob Lerche, Freddie Lerche, Vernon Sikes and Dave Sikes. The Pogue Family Scrapbook (1977-1983)
