Gloria Holden is Notable.

Gloria Anna Holden was an English-born actress, best known for her role as Dracula's daughter in the eponymous movie.

Gloria Anna Holden's birth was registered in Greenwich in the December quarter of 1903. Her mother's maiden name was Bergmann.^[1] Her family emigrated from England when she was a few months old: Gloria arrived at Ellis Island with her mother Lawrence, a jeweller, and her mother Eska on 16 July 1904 aboard the New York, sailing from Southampton.^[2]

The family settled in Pennsylvania. A daughter, Queenie, was born in 1905 in Philadelphia. Lawrence Holden died in 1908, and Eskea was listed as widow.^[3]

In 1920 Gloria lived in Radnor, Delaware with her mother (incorrectly enumerated as a man "Eska Romig") and her sister.^[4]

Gloria married to Harry D. Reynolds, son of Marvin Reynolds and Annie Lynch, on 22 October 1921 in Philadelphia.^[5][6] They had one son, Marvin Laurence (Harry) who became an actor known as Glen Corbett. They divorced during the 1920s and in 1930 Gloria was again enumerated in her mother's household in Queens, New York, and listed as a 26-year-old divorcee. Gloria's 7-year-old son, Marvin Holden, and her sister Queenie were living with them^[7]

Diana Holden married Harold Winston in December 1922^[8] or January 1933 in Manhattan, New York.^[9]

Gloria divorced a second time, and in 1940 was living with her mother and her son, now 17 and listed as Lawrence Holden. The family had moved to Los Angeles.^[10]

Her third marriage was to William Hoyt. They had one son, Christopher "Chris" Hoyt, born in 1948, who sadly died at age 22 in a traffic accident that was ruled a homicide. Gloria and William remained married until her death in 1991.^[11] She is buried in Hillside Memorial Park in Redlands.^[12]
