Henry was born before 1626. He was the son of Henry Holcroft and Lettice Aungier.
On the 12th July 1662, according to the parish register of Patcham in Sussex, 'Henry Holcroft was inducted into the parish church of Patcham by Samuel Cherry, Minister of the Gospel in the city of London'.[1]
Henry died on 8th December 1712 aged 92, and he was buried at Patcham on 16th December 1712 - 'Henry Holcroft Esq., (son of Sir Henry Holcroft of Eastham in Essex, knight) being Minister of this parish, dyed Dec: 8, and was buryed the 16th of ye same month Anno 1712, in ye vault in the chancel, being 92 years of age compleat'.[2]
