"---Mrs. Fannie Hoke Ward died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank R. Zoller, 504 Church Street, in Herkimer, on March 20th, after an illness of heart trouble. She was born May 1, 1825, in the town of Stark, and had made her home with her daughter after the death of her husband, Ephriam Ward at Richfield Springs, about 23 years ago. She was an attendant at the First M. E. Church and was a woman highly regarded by all who knew her. Surviving besides Mrs. Zoller are two other daughters, Mrs. S. A. Pickard of Fort Plain and Miss Ida Ward of RichfieldSprings. The funeral was held from the Zoller residence, the Rev. W. M. Hydon officiating and interment was made in the cemetery at Richfield Springs."
