Biography
Alfred Curtis Hogue was born on January 3, 1880 in Madison County, Iowa to George Washington and Dicy Elizabeth (Gentry) Hogue. He married Harriet E. Brittain on February 25, 1903 in Eddy County, North Dakota. They were the parents of Ralph E. (1904–1998), Maebird V. (1911–1999), Estel F. (1918–1940), Rex William (1919–2015), Thelma E. (born 1928), and Alfred R. (born 1929). He died on February 25, 1959 in Alamosa, Colorado at the age of 79, and was buried in Alamosa Municipal Cemetery in Alamosa, Colorado.
