Biography

David was born about 1841 and passed away about 1902

Son of Alexander and Sarah Hogue

In 1840, David was 20 years of age and living with his parents in District 2, Pleasants, Virginia, along with his siblings: Elizabeth-18, William-15, James-13, Henry-10.

In 1850, David was 10, and was living with his father in Findley, Mercer Co., PA. A Sarah Hoge (age 56, b. 1794 in New York) was also in the home, along with David's 4 siblings.

In 1870, the Census places Daniel and "Almerrine" "Hogg" with the 3 oldest children, Harriet, David, and Zelley in Missouri. "David Hogg M 29 Pennsylvania Almerrine Hogg F 25 Virginia Daniel H Hogg M 2 Virginia Zelley Ann Hogg F 5 Virginia Harriett L Hogg F 3 Virginia"

In 1880, David-39 was living in the Clay District of Ritchie Co., West Virginia, with his wife "Almarine"-35 and children (Daniel-10, Harriet-12, Mary-6, James-8, Iva-5, and Zella-15).

In 1900, David-59 was living in Clay District (east side) Pennsborotown, Ritchie Co., West Virginia. He was living with his wife "Allwanire", and his children: John-20, Welling-18, Jasper-14
