-Solomon Served in the US Army during the Civil War as a Volunteer but was awarded full US military Honors when he joined. Solomon HOGUE which was originally Hogg (orig Hogg) was born In Georgia to very young parents. They were farmers as he too became one. But he was in his 50’s when he married Hester JOHNSON.
