Biography
Mary was the daughter of Samuel II & Mary (Loveland) Hodge
She married 1st Edward Purple, son of Edward & Ruth (Hollister) Purple, on Sep 8, 1768 in East Hampton, Connecticut Colony - parents of Edward, Mary, Ansel, Samuel, Ruth, Deborah, Statira & Ann.
After Edward's death, Mary married Stephen Knowlton on Dec 31, 1795 in East Hampton, Connecticut. They had no children.
Mary passed away in 1846 in McDonough, Chenango Co., New York.
