She was the daughter of Alice Whetenhall and her first husband William or Thomas Hodde or Head.
Margaret first married Nicholas Ferrers of Princethorpe, and secondly Richard Andrews of Mayfield, Sussex.
Named as his wife Alice's daughter Margaret "now wyfe to Richard Andrewe" in the Will of her stepfather Thomas Darell of Scotney in 1558 who also mentions her in connection to his wife's lands in Maidstone, Kent and in respect of monies owed to her (Margaret). [1] Thomas also names Ursula and Elizabeth, daughters of Margaret Ferrers, likely the same person as this individual, his stepdaughter Margaret Andrewe, widow of Nicholas Ferrers. Nicholas and Margaret also had at least one son, Edward Ferrers.
