Biography
Adelia Hitt married Eugene P. Dillenbeck (1849-1906) sometime between 1872 and 1875 probably in Grundy or Black Hawk Co., Iowa. They had the following children:
- Maud Dillenbeck (abt.1876-1899), prob. Grundy County, Iowa; died in Detroit of suspected foul play, buried in Old Mancelona Cem. Antrim Co., MI[1]
- Blanche A. (Dillenbeck) Hudson Maierhofer (abt.1878-1964), born 1878-9 in Morrison, Grundy Co., IA. Blanche died 5-7 June 1964 at American Hospital, Cook Co., IL; buried 8 June 1964 in Sect. 16, Lot 200, Elmwood Cemetery, Cook Co., River Grove, IL[1]
Listed as 24 yo "Julia" in 1880 Federal Census at Morrison, Gundy County, Iowa [2]
Delia died on 4 Feb 1881, in Black Hawk County, Iowa, possibly in childbirth.[1]
