He married Sarah Lumbart on 15 November 1711 in Barnstable, the daughter of Benjamin and Sarah (Walker) Lumbart. Sarah was born on 29 October 1686 in Barnstable.[1]
He was named as executor in his sister Betiah Hinkley's will, dated 17 August 1714 and proved in 1715.[2] He was also named as executor and a legatee in his sister Mercy Hinkley's will, dated 17 March 1717/8 and proved 14 April 1718.[1]
