Biography

Ida May Hilt was born in 1877 (calculated from reported age at death see notes.) Augusta, Kennebec, Maine. She was the daughter of George Hilt and Flavilla Rowe. Ida married William Ellsworth Coons on 13 Jan 1892 in Clinton, Worcester, Massachusetts. Ida died 21 Sep 1903 reported age 26 years 5 months 9 days in Clinton; she was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery in Clinton.

3. It is probable that Clinton City Clerk James H. Carr made an error with Ida's reported age at death. She could not have been born after her mother died, : Flavilla's died 7 Nov 1870 as indicated on her grave stone.
