Lawrence Cox Hildreth was born on or before 10 August 1942 in Conecuh County, Alabama. He was the son of Henry Lee Hildreth (1899-1973) and Alma Lucile (Cox) Hildreth (1910-1996). He passed away on 10 Aug 1942 in Paul, Conecuh County, Alabama.^[1]

Research Notes

There is a gravemarker in Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Paul, Conecuh County, Alabama for a Lawrence Cox Hildreth, but the dates of both his birth and death are engraved 1941. It is not certain if this is the same child as the one profiled or a different child with the same name, but a death record for a second child named Lawrence Cox Hildreth has not been found, so it is possible the date engraved on the stone is an error made by someone who placed the stone some years after the death of the child or if there is an error in the Alabama Deaths index.^[2]
