Birth and Parents: Sarah Elizabeth Hildreth was born on 16 February 1860 in Alabama, most likely in Coffee County in what was then known as the Haw Ridge community.[1] She was the daughter of Travis Zaccheus Hildreth (1830-1900) and Elizabeth Samantha (Hays) Hildreth (1837-1913).[2]
