Biography
Anthony Hightower is a part of US Black heritage.
Anthony Hightower was a Freemason.
Anthony was born in 1842 in Mississippi.
Anthony married wife Dollie Patillo around 1867.[1] In 1870 they were living in Hood County, Texas with 4 children. In 1880 they were living in Hood County, Texas with 7 children[2].[3]
Anthony received a land title to 160 acres from a Barney Hightower in 1884 in Hood County.[4]
In 1900 they were living in Hood County, Texas with 6 of their 11 living children and a nephew.[5] In 1910 they had 4 adult children and several grandchildren in their household in Hood County.[6]
He passed away in 1916. He was buried with Masonic Honors in Colony Cemetery in Tolar, Hood County, Texas.. [7]
