Biography

Elizabeth Higgins was born on 11 February 1680 in Eastham, (then) Plymouth Colony, the daughter of Jonathan and Hannah (Rogers) Higgins.^[1][2][3][4]

She married Thomas Mayo as his first wife, on 03 April 1701 at Eastham, then Barnstable County, Province of Massachusetts Bay.^[5] Thomas was born on 03 April 1678 in Eastham, Plymouth Colony, the son of Thomas and Barbara (Knowles) Mayo.^[3]

Elizabeth Mayo died in Eastham on 04 November 1721.^[5][3] Her husband remarried Elizabeth Rogers in 1722, and had one more child.^[6] Thomas died in Eastham in July 1769.^[7]
